Overview

Yala Peak climbing is one of easy peak climbing in Nepal just to the north of Kathmandu in the beautiful langtang region. Yala peak is a part if the Langtang Himal which is located at the central part of Nepal. The base camp of Yala Peak is Kyangjin Gompa (3749m/12300 ft). Yala peak is a fantastic beginner’s mountaineering trip, one of Nepal’s easier trekking peaks. Just to the North of Kathmandu in the Langtang region, this 5732 meters peak is situated in a beautiful valley of rich grazing pastures and Tamang people. From Kathmandu we drive to Dhunche or Syabrubesi, and after three-day’s trekking we can reached to the Yala Peak. The high camp at 4800 meters from where we make our summit bid. After an alpine start under stars we are on the summit by late morning from where we can see the very beautiful view of Tibet and Shisapangma which is only the 8000m mountain of Tibet.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi,

Day 04: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel

Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang

Day 06: Langtang valley to Kyanjing Gompa

Day 07: Rest day at Kyanjing Gompa

Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa to Yala Peak Base Camp (5732 m)

Day 09: Base Camp – summit

Day 10: Kyanjing Gompa

Day 11: Kynanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel,

Day 12: Lama Hotel to Big Syabru Bensi

Day 13: Big Syabru Bensi to Sing Gompa

Day 14: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake.

Day 15: Gosainkunda to Ghopte.

Day 16: Ghopte to Tharepati (3510m).

Day 17: Tharepati to Gul Bhanjyang 2800m

Day 18: Gulbhanjyang to Chisopani 2300m

Day 19: Chisopani to Sundarijal , Farewell dinner with cultural shows

Day 20: Final departure,

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvwan International Airport, Kathmandu. Our airport representative assists you and transfers you to the hotel. Check in at hotel and overnight stay.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu city.
Today full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath and visit Patan city of fine arts. Back to hotel and stay.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi.
Drive to trekking starting point. Dhunche is about 8 hour drive which provides you maintain scenery and landscape. Stay overnight there.

Day 04:Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel.
Today climb through a variety of small villages and tracts of dense forest, the trek becomes a pleasant walk through trees where Langur monkey  frolic, passing a since stream and small waterfalls. Stay overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang.
From here short climb brings us to the right of where the Langtang valley begins as you start going up you will be able to see the beautiful view of Langtang Lirung peak. It is easy to find yak and the wild goats wondering around you. Overnight in a lodge.

Day 06: Langtang valley to Kyanjing Gompa,
A beautiful town which provide excellent panoramic close up view of Langtang Lirung Genjempol, Ganjala and Naya Kenga Himal ranges. A visit to cheese factory, see the beautiful Buddhist Monastery built 400 years ago. It is a good experience to try to climb to Tsergo Ri (5033m)

Day 07: Rest day at Kyanjing Gompa.
Today is the rest day at Kyangching. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangching Ri (4350meters) which is highest point of this trek, directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks. Overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa to Yala Peak Base Camp (5732 m)


Day 09: Base Camp – summit (Yala Peak) – return to Kanjing Gompa (3049 m)


Day 10: Kyanjing Gompa


Day 11: Kynanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel,
Trek down to Lama Hotel, overnight in camp.

Day 12: Lama Hotel to Big Syabru Bensi.

Day 13: Big Syabru Bensi to Sing Gompa.

Day 14: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake.

The trail to Lauri Binayak is steep & continues for three hours. Then the trail becomes much narrow & misty as well as change in vegetation too as the green vegetation becomes much deserted & rocky. From lauri Binayak takes about 3 hours to reach to Gosainkunda.

Day 15: Gosainkunda to Ghopte.
After explore around at Gosainkunda, we set for another day’s walk. The walk goes through a steep trail for 2 & half an hour & crosses a pass at 4500m and the trail is too rocky. After the pass the trail becomes to descend & the slope continues for about 3 hours & reaches to Ghopte for the night halt.

Day 16: Ghopte to Tharepati (3510m).

The trail continues through the forest of pine & juniper about 2 hour’s slope up to Thadepati

Day 17: Tharepati to Gul Bhanjyang 2800m

Day 18: Gulbhanjyang to Chisopani 2300m

Day 19: Chisopani to Sundarijal and drive back to Kathmandu
. Farewell dinner with cultural shows

Day 20: Final departure,
Our airport representative assists you at your hotel with luxurious vehicle and transfers you to the Tribhuvwan International Airport for your final departure.
