This is one of the most famous trekking areas in Nepal. To reach to Annapurna Region either you can fly or drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Pokhara is the gate way to Annapurna region. City of Pokhara offers many natural and attractive places to visit. Fewa lake with the shadow of Machhapuchre (Fishtail) mountain, Begnas tal (lake). Mahendra Cave, Sharangkot for sunrise and sunset view and others place are the attraction of Pokhara. There are rarely a few places in the world with such a splendid variety of natural beauty as that of Annapurna region. It is a rare combination of long arrays of snow capped mountains, crystal clear lakes, turbulent rivers with deep gorges, Buddhist monasteries, home of famous Gorkha soldiers and other friendly ethnic groups, as well as hot springs and beautiful villages.

Day 01: Upon arrival at Tribhuvwan International Airport (KTM-1335m.) and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara (850m./6hrs drive/ 25 min. flight).

Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1500m).

Day 04: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2750m).

Day 05: Trek from Ghorepani – Poonhill (3200m) – Ghandruk (1940m).

Day 06: Trek from Ghandruk to Dhampus (1650m).

Day 07: Dhampus to Pokhara (820m).

Day 08: From Pokhara to Kathmandu (6hrs drive/30min flight).

Day 09: Drive from hotel to international airport for your final departure.

Day 01: Upon arrival at Tribhuvwan International Airport.
Trip and Trek representative will assist you at Tribhuvwan International Airport and transfers you to the hotel. Overnight at hotel on BB basis.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara (6hrs drive/30min flight).

After the breakfast, our expert guide will assist you at your hotel with luxurious vehicle. Around six hours drive along with Prithvi Highway takes you to the beautiful city Pokhara. En route you can enjoy the green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. Lunch on the way. Overnight at Hotel on BB basis.

Day 03: Pokhara to Nayapul (1070m) and trek to Tikhedhunga (1500m).
After breakfast, drive one and half hour to Nayapul from where trek to Tikhedhunga begins. The first part of the trek is easy passing through numerous small villages and settlements. Afterwards the trail ascends gently to the final destination of the day, Tikhedhunga. People here, are engaged in agriculture, tourism business and some in British and Indian regiments. Overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2750m).
It takes about six hours from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani. The trail passes through ulleri and Banthanti, magar village. On the way you can enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna south, Fishtail and Hiunchuli. Overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Ghorepani – Poonhill (3200m) – Ghandruk (1940m).
Early in the morning we trek to Poonhill, to catch the early morning sunlight on the panorama of peaks: Dhaulaghiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchare, Tukuche and Lamjung Himal. This is an option but really worth the while. We then retrace our steps to Ghorepani and continue towards Tadapani through the rhododendron forest. Overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Ghandruk to Dhampus (1650m).
After the breakfast, start to trek by descending gently all the way through the rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forest. You’ll also come across several traditional tea houses, where the cheerful local women will beckon you to come over and try their tea. Overnight at Dhampus on lodge.

Day 07: Dhampus to Pokhara (820m).
After the breakfast, trek down from Dhampus to Suikhet Phedi through the paddy field of the village and the forest protected by the local community. From Suikhet 30 minutes drive by a private car brings you to the hotel at lakeside. Overnight at hotel on BB basis.

Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu (6hrs drive/30min flight).
After the breakfast drive around six hours along with Prithivi Highway or fly for 30 minutes from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Fare well dinner in the evening and overnight at hotel on BB basis.

Day 09: Final Departure.
Trip and Trek representative will assist you at your hotel and transfers you to international airport for your final departure.

Altitude Sickness is the major problem to be noticed by the trekkers while trekking here in Nepal. The excessive height of over 3000m may make the trekkers difficult in breathing and may cause severe problems on health. Altitude Sickness is also named as Acute Mountain Sickness(AMS) which is the active problem raised while trekking. AMS can be prevented by acclimatization and excessive amount of fluid is necessary to take for escaping such problems. In case of seriousness quick medical treatment is better in case.
1. Basic Symptoms:
•    Headache.
•    Nausea.
•    Dizziness.
•    Tiredness.
•    Loss of appetite.
•    Up set stomach.
•    Feeling uneasy.
•    Shortness of breath.
•    Increase heart rate.
•    Difficult to sleep.
•    Generally feeling unwell.

2. Medium Symptoms:
•    Severe headache.
•    Nausea and vomiting.
•    Increase shortness in breathing.
•    Lack of co – ordination.

3. Serious Symptoms:
•    Worsening of the symptoms above.
•    A persistent, irritating cough.
•    Breathlessness (even when resting).
•    Clumsiness and difficulty walking.
•    Irrational behavior.
•    Double vision.
•    Swelling of hands and face.

Prevention method of Altitude Sickness:-
The best prevention method for altitude sickness is acclimatization; i.e, by allowing required rest at certain heights. The victim may try some garlic soups and must drink excessive fluid to avoid it.When trekkers are reached to the particular base camp or destination it is better to make some hiking up to a bit higher point and come down to the camp or hotel. This is a really good way to get acclimatization. For the preventation trekkers also can take medicine called Diamox 250mg tablets the night before flying / going to altitude. It helps to make relief sometimes.

In hard cases of AMS the suffered trekkers must be brought down immedietly and be provided with quick medical treatment. Quick arrangements of porters and horses are necessary for decending the trekkers.
